Mental Health Week 2025: Unmasking Mental Health

May 2, 2025

This Mental Health Week, May 5-11, CPA Assist is unmasking mental health by reminding CPAs that it’s okay to ask for help.

There is no “normal” when it comes to mental health. Almost 1 in 5 Canadians who needed mental health support didn’t reach out because they were uncomfortable talking about their struggles.

Speaking up, seeking help, and supporting others saves lives. Together, we can spark a wave of courage and understanding across Canada and the profession.

Many of us hide our struggles—at work, online, even with loved ones. But constant masking can be draining and isolating. Download your own toolkit at mentalhealthweek.ca and continue the conversation.

    Interested in sharing your story?

Share your personal story or wellness journey with your fellow CPAs. Email CPA Assist at contact@cpa-assist.ca to be part of our Mindful Moments campaign or CPA Stories.

Let’s strive to see beyond the masks people wear and recognize their true selves. By fostering honesty and vulnerability, we can build deeper connections and enhance mental well-being. Together, we can spark a wave of courage and understanding across Canada and the profession.
