Workshop 1: Journaling to Redefine and Build Your Self-Care Practice

Tuesday, February 10, 12:00-1:00 pm MST

In this introductory session, we’ll explore journaling as a way to move self-care beyond a buzzword to something that is actionable and personal. You’ll discover how a journaling practice supports mental clarity, reduces stress, and builds resilience, so you can bring your best self to both work and life. We’ll cover the science-backed benefits of journaling and explore effective methods we’ll put into practice together

    We’ll use journaling to:

    • Redefine self-care so it reflects what you need, not just generic advice.
    • Evaluate your current state of self-care across five categories: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational
    • Decide on a focal point for your self-care goals in the coming weeks or months.
    • Explore the things that bring you joy that could be self-care practices
    • Identify barriers that get in the way of self-care and create a plan for success

You’ll leave this session with clarity about what matters most for your self-care and how journaling can help you maintain it.

Workshop 2: Journaling for Mental Clarity and Focus

Tuesday, February 17, 12:00-12:45 pm MST

In this session, we’ll introduce journaling as a tool for strengthening your mind. Through guided prompts and practice, you’ll learn how to:

    • Use journaling to reduce overthinking and mental clutter
    • Capture insights and ideas to improve problem-solving at work and in life
    • Reframe stressors and challenges so they feel more manageable

This is practical self-care for the mind, helping you move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling clear and capable.

Workshop 3: Journaling for Emotional Resilience and Gratitude

Tuesday, February 24, 12:00-12:45 pm MST

In the final session, we’ll focus on the emotional benefits of journaling.

You’ll learn and experience how journalling can:

    • Help you process challenges and setbacks in a healthy way
    • Build resilience by identifying strengths and lessons learned.
    • Enhance emotional balance by practicing gratitude and appreciation
    • Strengthen your ability to navigate stress while staying grounded and optimistic

This hands-on workshop will provide prompts and approaches to use journaling as a steady support for your emotional well-being.

What you will need: To make the most of the session, please bring a journal and pen to begin your journaling practice.
