    Exclusive event for Alberta CPAs. 

    Reconnect, recharge, and rediscover wellness through adventure! CPA Assist invites Alberta CPAs, candidates, and their families to a special Discovery Days event at Canyon Adventure Park.  

    Located in Red Deer’s river valley, Canyon Adventure Park’s summer attractions offer something for everyone to discover, from serene scenic experiences to adrenaline filled challenges. 

    Event details: 

    • Date: Saturday, May 30 
    • Time: Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. Aerial Park and Canyon Zipline harness times start at 9:30 a.m. Buffet lunch is from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Park closes at 5:30 p.m. 
    • Ticket price: $20 for individual tickets, $80 for a group of up to 6. Registration includes the cost of entry to the park and buffet lunch.    

    Sign up by May 22 to secure your spot! Limited tickets available.   

    Feature activities: 

    This year’s event is part of Elevate 2026. We’ve reserved the entire park exclusively for CPA Assist attendees! To make the most of the full park experience, plan for approximately 4–5 hours to enjoy everything at a comfortable pace. 

    Please read carefully as some of the activities have minimum age, height, or weight requirements for safety. We will be emailing ticket holders with a form to pre-book their timeslots to participate in the Aerial Park and Zipline rides, Summer Tubing session and Canyon Coaster session. 

     ActivityFeatures Safety Requirements 
    Aerial Park & Canyon Zipline  
    Harness time starts at 9:30 a.m. and runs every 30 minutes.

    Limited spots available.  

    Activity takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.  
    After ground-level safety training, participants tackle elevated challenges and can add an exciting dual zipline ride soaring high above the canyon. 
      
    Adventure awaits amidst a stunning 40-foot steel structure surrounded by natural beauty. Discover 36 thrilling obstacles arranged across three skill levels—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—designed to challenge and excite every participant. 
     
    The zipline spans nearly 1000 total feet high above the picturesque Over Yon Der ski run; you’ll glide over the stunning Canyon River valley, offering unparalleled views of the natural beauty below.  
    Ages 8 or older, weigh no more than 260 pounds and no more than 6’6″ tall. Zipline – minimum weight 75 pounds and maximum 260 pounds. 
     
    Must be able to safely fit in a harness and helmet. Physically capable of managing obstacles. 
     
    No loose articles. Long hair must be tied back. Closed-toe shoes required – no crocs.
    Net Park   
    Activity takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete.
    Kids and adults alike can explore a variety of activities, including a thrilling three-story spiral slide and two bouncing trampoline nets spread across multiple levels. Designed for ages 3 and up, the net park features three main structures bursting with excitement. Ages 3 or older. Children under 8 years of age must be directly supervised by a responsible ticket-holding chaperone aged 16 or older. 
     
    Closed-toe shoes required – no crocs. 
    Canyon Alpine Coaster 
    Activity takes approximately 1-hour to complete, with approximately two to three rides depending on driver speed.
    Alberta’s first and only Alpine coaster. This Coaster reaches over 1,300 meters in length with a total 440-foot vertical drop. 
     
    Using their own brake riders can control their speed and safely reach up to 40 km per hour, winding down the twists and turns of the track down into the Canyon! 
    Fun for all ages and physical capabilities. Children ages 3 to 7 can join in the fun by riding along as a passenger. 
     
    Drivers must be 8 years of age or older, and 4′1″ or taller. Maximum weight capacity per cart is 260 lbs. 
     
    Passengers must be 3 to 11 years old and a minimum of 3′ 2″ tall. Passengers must be no taller than the driver’s shoulders. 
     
    No upper height limit on single riders. 
    Summer Tubing Slide 
    Activity takes approximately 1 hour to complete to provide as many runs as possible.  
    Experience the thrill of sliding down a hill without snow! Summer tubing is an activity that everyone in the family can enjoy, from kids to grandparents. And getting to the top of the hill is easy since we have uphill conveyors or a “magic carpet” that does the work for you.Riders must be 4 years or older and be able to carry their own tube or have a parent/guardian carry both tubes. To ensure the safety of all riders, multiple passengers or children riding on laps is not permitted. Only one person per tube.  
     
    Closed-toe shoes required -no crocs.

    Note: Rain, smoke, or shine, the event goes on—we have you covered with sheltered spaces provided for lunch! No refunds will be provided due to inclement weather on the day.

    Planning your day—things to consider: 

    • Activity sign-up. Ticket holders will receive an email with a form to pre-book timeslots for the Aerial Park, Zipline, Summer Tubing, and Canyon Coaster activities. Please have your Eventbrite confirmation number ready when completing the form. Guests should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled activity time. The Net Park does not require a booking and can be enjoyed anytime during the event. 
    • On-site waiver. Attendees must sign a Release of Liability Waiver upon arrival. Minors must have parent or legal guardian sign for them prior to participation.  
    • Cameras and recording devices. Handheld devices, including phones and action cameras, are not permitted. If you wish to use an action camera, you must use a chest harness or head mount. 
    • Attire. We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing suitable for climbing, walking, and outdoor movement. Some attractions also require participants to use Canyon-provided helmets and safety gear, which must be worn as instructed. For your safety and to ensure full access to Canyon Adventure Park’s attractions, closed-toe shoes are mandatory for activities. Guests who are not wearing appropriate footwear or attire may be restricted from certain activities in accordance with Canyon Adventure Park safety guidelines.  
    Disclaimer

    Tickets: Due to the popularity of this event, and to help ensure as many CPAs are able to attend as possible, CPA Alberta is limiting the number of tickets available per guest to six (6). The primary ticket holder must be a CPA or CPA PEP candidate.   

    Refund policy: All cancellations and/or transfers must be received in writing at events@cpaalberta.ca.   
    Full refund, less processing fees, will be granted more than seven (7) full business days before the event’s start date. Eventbrite processing fees are nonrefundable.   

    Full refunds will not be granted if the written withdrawal/transfer request is received seven (7) business days or less before the start date. Extenuating exceptions may apply and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be provided due to inclement weather, or smoke, on the day.  

    Cancellations by CPA Alberta: CPA Alberta reserves the right to cancel the event. If the event is cancelled, registrants will receive a full refund. CPA Alberta is not liable for any financial losses as a result of the cancellation or incorrect contact information.  

    Personal information: CPA Alberta will only use or disclose personal information for the purpose for which it was collected. The purpose of the personal information collected is for event administration, registration, and facilitating participation in this event and its activities. This includes providing necessary registration information to the event venue or host to confirm attendance and compliance with required waivers, or for a use that is consistent with that purpose.
